XU women win exhibition



Xavier's senior backcourt of Reetta Piipari and Amy Waugh combined to score 60 points as the Xavier women's basketball team downed the Ohio Girls Basketball Magazine Legends in an exhibition game Wednesday night at Cintas Center.

Waugh led Xavier with 32 points and Piipari added 28 as both players equaled their career highs. Together, the pair was 19-for-25 from the field, including a 14-for-18 performance from 3-point range.
