Xavier completes women's basketball staff

The Associated Press

CINCINNATI — Xavier women's basketball coach Kevin McGuff said Thursday he has completed his staff by hiring assistant Amber Stocks.

Stocks served the past two years at Tennessee, including last year as director of basketball operations. She also spent a year at Notre Dame as a strength and conditioning intern.

She played college basketball at Cincinnati and is from Pickerington in central Ohio.

Stocks joins Mike Bradbury and Kristin Cole as McGuff's assistant coaches. Christi Hester will serve as Xavier's director of basketball operations.
