XU women lose second exhibition




        Xavier forward Kate Kreager had 33 points and 13 rebounds, but the Musketeers fell to 0-2 in the preseason, exhibition season, losing 88-85 to the Reebok Lady Stars Saturday at Cintas Center.

        Kreager, a 6-foot-3 sophomore, had 24 points and eight rebounds in the second half, but the Musketeers couldn't overcome a three-point halftime deficit. Reebok led by as many as 15 points in the second half.

        Reetta Piipari scored 11 points and Aida Sarajlija had 10 points for Xavier, which opens the regular season Friday at Indiana State.

        Former Purdue star Katie Douglas scored 28 points to lead Reebok.
