The Charlotte Sting released former Xavier University forward Jennifer Phillips, the team's third-round pick (34th overall) in this year's draft.

        Phillips was Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year and helped lead the Musketeers to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.
