Final Four tickets available if
The Cincinnati Enquirer
If Xavier wins tonight, Final Four tickets will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the XU ticket office. The three Final Four games in St. Louis are sold out, but Xavier would receive 800 tickets to sell. Call 745-3411 for tickets.
They are $100 each for both sessions. The semifinals are Friday night and the championship game is Sunday at the Savvis Center.
TV GATHERING: Xavier will open the Cintas Center tonight so fans can watch the game together on television in the arena's banquet room. The game begins at 8:07 p.m. on ESPN2.
CONNECTIONS: Even though Xavier and Purdue have never played, there are several Greater Cincinnati and XU connections.
Purdue freshman Lindsey Hicks and Beth Jones played at Lebanon and Mason, respectively. Senior center Camille Cooper went to Scott County High School in Georgetown, Ky.
Xavier guard Amy Waugh and Purdue forward Candi Crawford played together at Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., and Waugh was recruited by Purdue.
