Hot-shooting Temple rips Dayton

PHILADELPHIA Quincy Wadley scored 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting as Temple defeated Dayton 76-63 in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament on Thursday.
Lynn Greer added 22 points and seven assists and David Hawkins had 14 points for Temple (19-12, 13-4).
Temple has won five straight and eight of the last 10 games.
Dayton (19-12, 9-8) was dogged by poor shooting and turnovers, but Temple shot 54 percent (26-of-48). The Flyers were held to a dismal 38 percent (21-of-56).
