How can I get tickets?
There have been about 7,300 season tickets sold; there were roughly 6,500 sold last year at Cincinnati Gardens.
Currently, only season tickets and six-packs (for six selected home games) are on sale for this season. All are in the arena's upper level.
The remaining season-ticket packages are $272, $230 and $188 apiece. The six-pack zones are $108 and $90. Visit the ticket office at the arena or call 745-3411.
Individual-game tickets go on sale in late October. Those will be $18, $15 and $12 apiece.
What about small children?
Kids ages 3 and under don't need a ticket.
How do I get there?
There are four avenues available: Ledgewood, Webster, Cleneay and Victory Parkway. Xavier is also constructing a two-lane connector road from Cintas Center to Dana Avenue, open only on game days.
Where can I park?
XU officials say they have 3,125 spaces on campus and up to 900 spaces of existing parking at nearby businesses. They say 2,700 on-campus parking spots are desired for a capacity crowd at the arena.
They're also looking for more. Part of the former BASF plant at the corner of Dana and Montgomery has been paved, with more paving planned.
Spaces in the lots immediately surrounding Cintas Center are reserved for season-ticket holders.
Generally, parking will be tighter for weeknight games because students with night classes won't have vacated nearby lots.
You plunk down a 10,000-seat building in an area where there was no such thing before, you're going to have some issues with traffic and parking, XU athletic director Mike Bobinski said. I think we've done a lot to develop a system that will get people in and out in a reasonable way.
Are there beer sales?
Yes. There are 55 to 60 beer taps, with domestic, import and premium brands.
For years now, our fan base has had the opportunity to have beer served at Cincinnati Gardens, Bobinkski said. It's never been a crowd issue, a behavior issue, so we've decided to keep that option available to people.
