Bellevue 37, NewCath 23
Bellevue relied on the two-pronged running attack of James Delaney, who scored second-half touchdowns and gained 146 yards, and Chad Montgomery, who gained 92 yards and scored one touchdown.

FRIDAY'S TOP GAMES
Eight teams clinch on night of champions
Eight football teams clinched titles Friday.

Lakota East 10, Lakota West 3
Quarterback Mike Kohler hit Barrett Johnson on a 57-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.

Boone County 35, Ryle 14
FLORENCE — The Shaun Alexander analogies hung heavy in the air Friday night.

Highlands 63, Holmes 0
FORT THOMAS — By the end of Friday's Class AAA district game between Highlands and Holmes, the only thing in doubt was whether the Highlands cannon crew had brought enough ammunition to celebrate all the Bluebirds' touchdowns.

Kings 42, Loveland 21
How did a team that lost 16 starters from a year ago become an undefeated champion in the first year for the Fort Ancient Valley Conference's Cardinal division?

Oak Hills 37, McNicholas 13
The writing was on the wall at Oak Hills High School on Friday night. Styrofoam cups smashed into the chain-link fence opposite the Oak Hills stands spelled out: “We win we're in!”

Other Cincinnati games
Senior running back Earl Haynes ran 35 times for 215 yards and two touchdowns to help visiting Fairfield clinch the GMC title with a 24-7 victory over Hamilton on Friday in a high school football game.

Other Northern Ky. games
Newport sent its super duo of Charlie Smith and Nick Partin over the 1,000-yard mark again Friday night as the Wildcats rolled to a 69-6 victory over visiting Bath County.
