Outlook: Sophomores on last year's team played 14 of the 22 starting positions, and the Blue Devils took their lumps. Those players return with experience. This year there are eight returning starters on both sides of the ball, as well as the return of the kicker and punter. However, the team still lacks seniors. They will look to fill the loss of 1,100-yard rusher Jamie Hirt.
