Outlook: Harrison's offense is designed to be balanced between the run and pass and has done a terrific job the past few years of reaching that goal. That's the hope again for 1999, even with a new cast at the skill positions. QB is a battle between Doug Leininger and Patrick Hannon, who have both shown well in the preseason. RBs Tommy Hennessey, Charlie Key and Robert Doerflein will carry the ball. The early strength for Harrison should be the defense, with seven starters back. The lineup is led by DT Carl Biddle and OLB Doerflein, all-league choices last year, along with second-team all-leaguers ILB Mike Shelton and DB Steve Wells.
