Coach: Rudy Tassini (82-56, including 0-1 this year)
Outlook: The Juggernauts made six consecutive playoff trips from 1991-96, but they have since slumped to back-to-back 3-7 finishes. Lloyd has just seven seniors, and early injuries have stung.
Junior quarterback Randy Addington is out at least another week with a dislocated kneecap, and star junior lineman Jonathan Johnson is out another two weeks with a strained knee.
Lloyd managed just 77 yards last Friday in a season-opening 13-0 loss at Greenup County.
When Addington returns, he should provide needed speed.
''Jamison will be one of the fastest backs in Northern Kentucky,'' Tassini said. ''He runs a 4.5 40(-yard dash).''
Senior fullback Mike Morgan and senior tailback Damann Jamison are returning starters. Jamison was a wideout last year but converted to backfield duties after rushing for 109 yards against Newport.
A concern: Only four starters return on defense. With Lawrence County moving up to Class AAA, Lloyd has a slightly better shot at one of the district's four playoff spots.
