| Tony Jones delivered the Enquirer as a high school student in Cincinnati. In 1988, he joined the staff as a photographer.
Before then, he worked as a stringer for United Press International and a staff photographer at The Athens Messenger and The Herald Dispatch in Huntington, W.Va.
He studied fine arts/photography, art history and philosophy at Ohio University.
His favorite projects include a series on wooden boats.
His influences are life's experiences and photographers Minor White and Edward Steichen.
The photographic image is a metaphor for something other than the apparent subject. Good composition can make for a timeless image. |
