His favorite projects include a series of photographs on a prisoner escaping a third-floor courtroom in Danville, Ill.; a feature series on Cincinnati inner-city elementary kids visiting their wealthy pen-pals in York, Pa.; and coverage of Reds spring training.
He lists as his influences his Enquirer colleagues and Howard Lippen, a friend and photographer at the San Diego Union-Tribune.
