FALMOUTH - Residents who decide to participate in a buyout have a week from today to get information about their homes to the city council.

Forms are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the new city hall, corner of Shelby and Main streets.

Residents will need to provide:

Their name.

Their pre-flood address.

The estimated value of their home before the flood.

The value of their home as determined by the property valuation administrator.

The percentage of damage sustained.

Whether there is an outstanding mortgage on the home and the name of the lending agent.

Whether the property owner had flood insurance and the amount covered in the policy.

City employees will be available to answer any questions at city hall.
