Boone County

Deon Gaddis

BURLINGTON - Deon Gaddis, 76, founder and owner of Trophy Awards in Covington, and of Agape Awards in Newport, and a Korean War Army veteran, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Surviving are his wife, Dolores Dyer Gaddis of Burlington; daughter, Robin R. Toadvine of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Steven of Villa Hills, and Audie of Harrisonburg, Va.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon and service noon today at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Covington. Burial with an honor guard service will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

Lucille Hodges

FLORENCE - Lucille Hodges, 85, a homemaker, and member of East Bend Baptist Church in Union, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

Surviving are several cousins. Visitation 5:30-7 p.m. and service 7 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial, East Bend Methodist Cemetery, Boone County. Memorials: East Bend Baptist Church, 12246 Lower River Road, Union, KY 41091.
