Promotions and new on the job

Darrell A. Smith has been named club operating manager of Five Seasons Northern Kentucky. Smith is responsible for the management of club operations, including racquet sports, fitness, aquatics, banquets and catering, membership development and other club operations. He has 13 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. He joined Five Seasons after working for seven years at Winegardner & Hammons in Blue Ash. He received an associate's degree in business from Xavier University.

• The following have been named vice presidents at Fifth Third Bank: Mark Sesler, Lisa R. Underwood and Melody Robinson. Named assistant cashiers were: Pamela Southard, David Charvat and Gabriel Sanders.

Bernhard Glock has been appointed manager, global media and communication for the Procter & Gamble Co.

Drew Vogt has joined Kennedy & Associates Creative Consultants Group (K&A), as a graphic designer, and Monique G. Frecker has joined as a senior designer.

Vivek Choudhury has been named head of the department of information systems at the University of Cincinnati's College of Business, where he has also been promoted to associate professor. Choudhury came to UC in 2000 as assistant professor in the College of Business. Prior to that he was assistant professor in the College of Business at Florida State University and assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Calcutta, India and a master's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He earned his doctorate (area of study - management; concentration - information systems) from UCLA in 1991.

Dennis Reinersman has joined Schulte Corp. as regional sales manager, professional installation market.

Britney Boyd has joined Brashear Bolton Architects as an intern architect. Boyd has a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in architecture.

Adryanna Sutherland has been named vice president of client services at Loren/Allan/Odioso, a full service marketing communications firm, downtown.

Sarah Grover has joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as special events coordinator, and Jennie Cook joined as special events manager.

Sharon L. Booker has been appointed executive assistant county administrator of Hamilton County.

Katie King has joined Willow Creative Group (WCG) as student co-op from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning (DAAP).

Lorne Lambert has joined Empower MediaMarketing as senior media buyer.

Jim Smith has been appointed senior project manager at Central Business Group, a specialist in records management, storage and filing systems, and Sean Flynn as account executive in the integrated solutions division (ISD).

Howard Schultz has joined Jewish Family Service of Greater Cincinnati as executive director. Prior to coming to JFS, Howard served as the executive director of the Louisville Jewish Community Center from 1996-2003. Before Louisville, he worked at the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven, Conn. for 16 years, 13 of those years as executive director.
