Paige Wideman

Hometown: Cincinnati (Northside)

Age: 36

Medium: Wood, metal, found objects, steel, cast bronze, stone and glass

Finest hour: My last solo exhibition at University of Cincinnati's DAAP Galleries, downtown, because it represented a major step in the new direction my work is taking and gave me a satisfying feeling of personal growth as an artist.

Day job: Lecturer at Northern Kentucky University and Wilmington College.

Secret ambition: To create a television program modeled on "Inside the Actor's Studio," where artists from all over the world would be interviewed about their lives. To write a book where I can express my creativity in a different way.

What's next? To pursue public art. I want to create larger outdoor works that are site specific.
