Gala to honor educator, patrons

The International Sculpture Center is planning programs and activities in Cincinnati during the next year.

First up will be a gala to celebrate local sculptor and educator Pat Renick, 70, and arts patrons Georgia and David Welles of Bowling Green, Ohio.

Renick will receive the International Sculpture Center's Educator of the Year award, only the fifth time this honor has been given out.

Tickets for the event, Oct. 9 at the Westin Hotel, start at$150. Proceeds from the gala will benefit the sculpture center. Call 321-1444 for tickets and information.
