DOWNTOWN - A nightclub promoter who police say planned parties such as "Naughty School Girl Night" at an 18-and-over club is accused of raping three patrons, and investigators are looking for more victims.
Cincinnati police have three women willing to testify that Christopher Doss, 25, of Columbus, sexually assaulted them at Motion Night Life, said Lt. Kim Frey, commander of the personal crimes unit. Two more women identified Doss as their attacker too, she said, but they don't want to face him in court.
"We still think there's more victims," Frey said Friday. "They did these different types of theme parties two or three times a month."
Doss, who also has used a Jessup Road address in Green Township, was indicted last week on six counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition. The alleged incidents, which the victims said took place in the club in Longworth Hall on Pete Rose Way, date to October 2002. The most recent assault allegedly occurred Aug. 2, according to the indictment.
The women are between 19 and 24 years old, Frey said. Some were club patrons; others participated in the theme parties.
The club had a photo gallery on its Web site but it had been taken off the Web Friday. Frey said it showed pictures of Doss with women at club parties. Other theme parties, she said, included "Hedonism Night" and "Miniskirt Madness."
Court documents indicate Doss hired attorney H. Louis Sirkin, a Cincinnati lawyer known for freedom of expression cases, to represent him. Neither Doss nor Sirkin could be reached for comment Friday.
The case against Doss started in November when Cincinnati Detective Phillip Black got the first complaint, Frey said.
"It's a strange case," she said. "You just don't have many like this that occur in a nightclub."
