Boone County

Harland E. Fields

FLORENCE - Harland E. Fields, 90, a stationary engineer for Ford Motor Co. in Sharonville and member of Williamstown Christian Church, died Monday at his home in Florence.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel Johnson Fields; a daughter, Louise Browning Lanter of Fort Wright; a son, Thomas E. Fields of Mariemont; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. and service 2 p.m. today at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.

Alice Fornash

FLORENCE - Alice Fornash, 88, retired head of housekeeping for St. Elizabeth Medical Centers and member of Florence United Methodist Church, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

Her husband, Beryl Newton Fornash, preceded her in death in 1977.

Surviving are her daughter, Wanda Lee Arlinghaus of Florence; two sons, Donald of Bradenton, Fla. and Phillip of Worthville, Ky.; a sister, Ida Wright of Cynthiana, Ky.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 p.m. and service 2:30 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

David Spare

HEBRON - David John Spare, 41, a parts manager for American Bus & Accessories Inc. in Springfield Township, died Friday in an automobile accident.

Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Spare; a daughter, Morgan Spare of Hebron; a stepdaughter, Kelsey Doty of Hebron; his father, Delbert of Fort Wright; two brothers, Don of Fort Wright and Mark of Indialantic, Fla.; and five sisters, Carol Buring, Marcia Deters, Susan Smeltzer and Paula Ritter, all of Burlington, and Melissa Baeten of Verona.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Phyllis McCoy

DRY RIDGE - Phyllis Nadine Mounce McCoy, 70, a homemaker, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are five daughters, Vickie Sizemore of Fort Wright and Deberha Perkins, Shelby Jean Goodridge, Darlene Burlew and Mary "Sissy" Hillenbrand, all of Burlington; three sons, Larry White of Dry Ridge, Gary Mounce of Louisville and Tim Mounce of Burlington; a sister, Carolyn Stricker of Chicago; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and service 10 a.m. Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger. Burial will be in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.

Thomas A. Lange

COVINGTON - Thomas A. "Tank" Lange, 48, a manager for Ken-API Supply Co. in Covington, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis H. Lange; two sons, Todd Henson of Latonia and Mike Henson of Hamilton; a daughter, Tammy Mersman of Burlington; his mother, Mary Minnette Lange of Park Hills; five brothers, Robert of Batavia and Dan, Dick, Ken and Mike, all of Fort Wright; a sister, Mary Lange of Park Hills; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. today at Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Taylor Mill. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m. today at St. Agnes Church in Fort Wright. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.

Mary Walker

COVINGTON - Mary Ethlyn Walker, 94, a homemaker, and a secretary for Wadsworth Electric Co. in Covington for 17 years, died Thursday at Rosedale Manor in Covington.

She was a member of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington and of the church's ladies society.

Her husband, John Hilbern Walker, preceded her in death in 1994.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Moeller of Florence and Marcia Miller of Austin, Texas; a son, John of Shelbyville, Ind.; a sister, Peggy Hergott of Covington; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 8:30-9:30 a.m. today at Linnemann Funeral Home in Covington. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. today at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in Fort Mitchell.

Donald Russ

ELSMERE - Donald Robert Russ, 54, a self-employed freight transporter, and member of F&AM Masonic Lodge 949 in Florence, died Friday at his home.

Surviving are his wife, Paula Kaye Neal Russ; two daughters, Amy C. Russ of Cincinnati and Jade M. Adams of Crestview Hills; two sisters, JoAnn Lecture of Nancy, Ky., and Jackie Long of Denver; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and service 2 p.m. today at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Erlanger. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

ERLANGER - Bernice L. Hauser, 83, a homemaker, died Sunday at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere.

Surviving are her husband, Don C. Hauser; three daughters, Donna Hauser of Erlanger, Amy Sivers of Edgewood and LuAnn Peacher of Lexington; two sisters, Katy Lockard and Loretta Lockard, both of Louisville; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. and service 10 a.m. today at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Elsmere.

INDEPENDENCE - Joshua Challis Fannin, a 1-day-old infant, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

Surviving are his parents, Brian and Amy Fannin of Independence; a sister, Emily Fannin of Independence; two brothers, Sean and William Fannin, both of Independence; and grandparents, Ed and Susan Dance of Frankfort, and Challis Fannin of Russell, Ky.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton is handling arrangements.

INDEPENDENCE - Linda Gail Ross-Scales, 52, a registered nurse, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

Surviving are a daughter, Monica Scales of Independence; a brother, James L. Ross of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a sister, Donna Ross-Miller of Dayton, Ky.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and service 1 p.m. today at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger.

RYLAND HEIGHTS - Jesse David Still, 56, a truck driver for Royalty Trucking Co., died Sundayat St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are his wife, Michele Born Still; three daughters, Sarah Friedhoff of Walton, Sandi Moore of Florence and Paige Still of Ryland Heights; a son, David of Florence; a brother, Robert of Glencoe, Ky.; a sister, Darlene Speagle of Demossville, Ky.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. todayand service 11 a.m. Thursday at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home in Covington.

TAYLOR MILL - Renee Fields, 25, a sales representative for Avon and member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Latonia Lakes, died Sunday at her home.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. and service 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 6036 Club House Drive, Latonia Lakes. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Benny Pruiett

DEMOSSVILLE - Benny Theodore Pruiett, 73, a retired steel worker for Interlake Steel in Newport and a Korean War Army veteran, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown.

He was a 32nd-Degree Mason and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Demossville.

Surviving are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Cynthia Perkins of Demossville; a son, Benny "Peanut" Pruiett Jr. of Demossville; two stepsons, Jeffrey and Mark Painter, both of Bellevue; a brother, Leroy of Dry Ridge; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. today at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Highland Heights. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.

Delores Roulette

FALMOUTH - Delores Roulette, 86, of Cynthiana, Ky., died Sunday at Edgemont Manor in Cynthiana.

Her husband, Edwin Samuel Roulette, preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Greg of Falmouth; a daughter, Melanie Elam of Berry, Ky.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and service 1 p.m. today at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
