PARTNER FOR DEVELOPERS: Based in Sycamore Township, Construction Plus was founded in 1996 by Cecil Hudson, who continues as its president and CEO. The company provides both general contracting and construction management for commercial and industrial projects throughout the Midwest. Because of Hudson's expertise in such matters as environmental assessment, site assessment and cost estimation, Construction Plus is often brought into projects at an early stage.
NEW LOOK, NEW LIFE: Many of the company's projects are renovations. Currently, Construction Plus is redeveloping The Continent in Columbus, a 22-building multi-use commercial site originally built in the 1970s. Locally, Construction Plus is finishing a mezzanine for the Mason Public Library and renovations of two retail stores for Verizon Wireless: one in Florence and one in Beavercreek, Ohio.
