Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Marion Louise Corbin, a longtime teacher and principal, died Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 92.

Born Mary Josephine Corbin in 1910 in El Paso, Texas, she earned bachelor's degrees in education from the Athenaeum of Ohio and in history from the College of Mount St. Joseph.

She and her older sister, Sister of Charity Mary Eudora, entered the congregation on the same day. They took their vows together and were Sisters of Charity for 74 years.

"We lived together all those years and we were both very happy," said Sister Mary Eudora. "Sister Marion was very friendly, very generous, and now she is smiling down on us."

Sister Marion Louise was a teacher and principal for 40 years. She taught at Resurrection in Price Hill (1929-31); Holy Family in Price Hill (1932-33); and St. Mary in Hyde Park (1933-36). She also taught at or was principal of elementary schools in Cleveland; Detroit; and in Aurora, Denver, Pueblo and Trinidad, Colo; and Albuquerque, N.M.

"Sister Marion was a good administrator and a lovely lady," said Sister of Charity Jean Patrice Harrington, who was congregational provincial when Sister Marion Louise was a school principal in the West. "She ran a very orderly, well-organized school."

Sister Marion Louise later worked as a clerk and sacristan in hospitals in including St. Joseph Hospital in Albuquerque.

She and her sister retired in 1990 and moved to El Paso to care for their invalid sister, Ethel Flynn. After Ms. Flynn's death in 1996, both sisters moved to Mother Margaret Hall, Mount St. Joseph in 2001.

In addition to Sister Mary Eudora, she is survived by a brother, Albert of Albuquerque, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1:30 to 3 p.m. Monday in the Immaculate Conception Chapel at the Sisters of Charity Motherhouse, Mount St. Joseph. Mass of Christian burial follows at 3 p.m. with burial in the Motherhouse cemetery.

Memorials: Sisters of Charity Retirement Fund, in the name of Sister Marion Louise Corbin, 5900 Delhi Road, Mount St. Joseph, OH 45051.
