Professionals who would lose their overtime pay under a Bush administration proposal to change the types of jobs that must receive more money for extra work, a study by a union-supported think tank Economic Policy Institute says.

In Winning Without Losing Your Way: Character-centered Leadership, Kentucky author Rebecca Barnett points out that most employees are fanatic about the integrity of the company that cuts them a check each week. "The Ethics Resource Center found that four in five people say their organization's integrity was an important consideration," Barnett says. "Seventy-nine percent said their organization's concern for ethics and doing the right thing is an important reason why they continue to work there."

EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. This is the same as EBDIT or EBITD, except it also includes amortization. EBITDA is often used by analysts to measure the cash flow or underlying cash generating capability of a company.
