Caterer using ATP to showcase service

Montgomery Inn ribs and the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters. Barbecue sauce and tennis whites? Not two things that normally go together.

But according to officials with the restaurant and the upcoming ATP tennis tournament, a new agreement goes well beyond the restaurant chain's best-known product.

Evan Andrews, vice president for Montgomery Inn Inc., said his company has signed a deal to provide all concessions and catering for the event, scheduled for Aug. 7-17 at the ATP Tennis Center in Mason.

The tournament will still offer a food court, with 10-12 local names, including LaRosa's and Skyline Chili.

But Montgomery Inn will handle the three main concession stands in the stadium as well as satellite concession stands and beer and liquor sales. That's in addition to providing the catering for the hospitality tents at the event.

"This is more than just ribs," Andrews said. "In the hospitality tents, we'll have everything from poached salmon to roasted tenderloin."
