LOVELAND - The primary colors are blue and gray in Loveland today. Six Civil War artists will sell and display their works at the Greater Loveland Historical Museum in Hamilton County from 1-4:30 p.m.
The show is one of the major events of the museum's five-month Morgan's Raid exhibit.
These artists will appear:
Rudy Ayoroa, a Danville, Ky., painter and sculptor. He was born in Bolivia, but America's War Between the States has captured his imagination. He has painted many Union and Confederate figures, including Stonewall Jackson and John Hunt Morgan. He will display Morgan's picture and other works.
Barbara Reif, a graduate of Western Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati. The retired teacher and Hamilton County resident is inspired by Civil War re-enactments, which her husband, Dan Reif, photographs. His work will also be displayed.
Beverly C. Kirk, a Hamilton County artist who works mostly with pen and ink illustrations. She worked on the guidebook of the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, published by Historic Hoosier Hills in Indiana, and is now working on a similar Ohio map and guidebook. She will display 80 original illustrations of Morgan and the raid.
Steve Masterson, a photographer from Morrow. He will display and sell shots of battlefield landscapes, monuments and buildings. He is a member of the Civil War Preservation Trust and other groups.
Gary M. Purvis, a sculptor from Fairfield. He specializes in miniatures, including soldiers in battle. He will display and sell Union and Confederate infantry and cavalry.
Admission and parking are free. The museum is at Riverside Drive and Park Avenue. Telephone: 683-5692.

"It's really a local book, for people who have lived in Cincinnati," said Kolb, who writes under the pen name Mellen.
Kolb, 77, draws on her love and knowledge of the city by including scenes in Ault Park, the cut in the hill in Kentucky and other area places. "All Cincinnatians get a chill when they see the lights of downtown from Kentucky," she said.
