Annie Shockley, 70, of North College Hill, breaks down in tears as she talks about her father, Henry Lee Turner, who was stabbed to death in his West End apartment in 1988. A picture she holds shows him and her mother, Annie.
Shockley spoke out for the first time Wednesday against her father's killer, Jerome Campbell, 42, who is scheduled to be executed June 27.
"I want him dead," Shockley said. "He didn't just kill my father, he left a lot of hurt behind."
The Ohio Parole Board recommended that Gov. Bob Taft grant Campbell clemency. Taft has not yet made a decision.
