Summer festivals

By Mandy Jenkins
The Cincinnati Enquirer

It's summer - time for sunburns, humidity and a slew of festivals in the Tristate. Save money by attending local cultural festivals rather than taking an expensive world tour. Get the kids out of the house by taking them to one of the numerous church festivals. Or, grab your sweetie and take in a music festival or share some homemade ice cream. Whether it's model cars, homemade quilts or barbecued chicken that tickles your fancy, there's a festival of some sort every weekend this summer through Labor Day. Keep this guide as a roadmap to fun for your summer weekends and keep an eye out for new announcements in Tempo.
