Hike Around Winton Lake, 10 a.m. Sunday, Harbor Pavilion, Winton Woods. Free.
Learn the lake's history and its importance to humans and wildlife as a park naturalist takes you on this 1.7-mile hike. A Hamilton County Park District motor vehicle permit is required to enter the park ($3 annually or $1 daily).

Fall sports physicals
Student athletes require a physical exam before participating in fall sports. Spectrum Rehabilitation, an outpatient physical rehabilitation service specializing in sports injuries, offers the opportunity to fulfill this requirement for $10. Students under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Golf
The 13th annual Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport Fire Fighters Golf Outing, June 7; 7:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. tee times. $70 per person. Flagg Springs Golf Course, Smith Road, California, Ky.

The 10th annual Greater Cincinnati Ohio State Alumni Classic Golf Outing & Dinner, June 14, Crooked Tree Golf Course, 5171 Sentinel Oak Drive, Mason. $110 per golfer (includes dinner and gift); $25 per person, dinner only.
Help fund scholarships for former area high school students who now attend Ohio State while you celebrate the Buckeyes' national football championship. This event, sponsored by the Ohio State University Alumni Club of Greater Cincinnati, includes appearances by Buckeye coaches. Reservation deadline Friday; space limited.

The Seventh Annual Spaghetti Nob 5K Run and Fitness Walk, June 13; 7:45 p.m. walkers; 8 p.m. runners. $15 pre-registration includes $5 "pasta bucks"; T-shirt, add $5; race day, add $5. Riverboat Row, Newport (meet at Fourth and Columbia for shuttle to start line).
Work out and eat more after this 5K event during the Newport ItalianFest. Proceeds directly benefit the clients of New Perceptions Inc., a nonprofit organization for Northern Kentucky children and
