Catholic Social Services will host a free workshop, "The War: Coping Skills for Adults and Children," with presenters Sandy Keiser, a licensed independent social worker, and Sharon Duff, Ed.D.
The programs will take place:

Fort Thomas will hold a "Salute Our Troops" rally at 4 p.m. Sunday in the amphitheater at Tower Park, 950 S. Fort Thomas Ave. Guest speaker will be Brig. Gen. Thurman Owens, U.S. Marine Corps. There will be entertainment, face painting and more.
Grailville, 932 O'Bannonville Road, Loveland, holds Interfaith Vigils for Peace from 7-9 p.m. Thursdays.
Hamilton Christian Center, 2940 Millville Ave., Hamilton, conducts prayer services noon to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday. The services focus on world and U.S. events.
Intercommunity Justice & Peace Center will host Women in Black Vigils 5-6 p.m. Mondays on the island of Central Parkway near Vine Street, downtown, and 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays at the intersection of Mall Road and Ky. 18, Florence. Information: 579-8547.
