Film screening: War Photographer, an award-winning documentary about the experiences of Time magazine's James Nachtwey, will be screened by Cincinnati World Cinema at 7 p.m. April 27, in the Event Pavilion on the main campus of the University of Cincinnati.
Admission is free for UC faculty, staff and students with valid ID; $8 for all others.

Screenplay competition: Ohio Independent Film Festival is seeking submissions to the Voice of Color category in its annual screenplay competition.
