Riverbend: ZZ Top "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers Tour," 7 p.m. May 27, features Ted Nugent, Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Double Trouble. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets, phone (513) 562-4949 and online at www.ticketmaster.com. Cost is $57.75 and $50.25 pavilion and $26.25 lawn.

Kenny Chesney, with Keith Urban and Deanna Carter, will perform at 7:30 p.m. June 1. Tickets are $52.50 and $22.50, on sale noon Saturday at Ticketmaster.

A limited number of $10 lawn tickets will be sold for both shows at Riverbend's box office. For more information, go to Riverbend-Music.com.

Film screening: War Photographer, an award-winning documentary about the experiences of Time magazine's James Nachtwey, will be screened by Cincinnati World Cinema at 7 p.m. April 27, in the Event Pavilion on the main campus of the University of Cincinnati.

Admission is free for UC faculty, staff and students with valid ID; $8 for all others.

Screenplay competition: Ohio Independent Film Festival is seeking submissions to the Voice of Color category in its annual screenplay competition. Sponsored by www.WritersScriptNetwork.com, the Voice of Color contest is meant to encourage writers of diverse racial backgrounds to bring their stories to the medium of film.
