Ky. counties honor military


Tristate reacts to war

Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties will salute the military, their families and all veterans at "Celebrate Our Hometown Heroes" 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Turfway Park in Florence. Bring a picture of a family member who serves in the military and have a button made to wear.

The celebration will feature registration booths for Activity Duty, Reserves, National Guard and veterans, and a Red Cross information booth for families. Admission is free. Information: (859) 334-2242.
