USA Hockey names 2003 team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Eight NHL players and three others with NHL experience were selected Friday to the U.S. team that will play in the world hockey championships.
Matt Cullen (Florida), Brad DeFauw (Carolina); Nicholas Dimitrakos (San Jose); Adam Hall (Nashville); and Craig Johnson (Los Angeles) were chosen as forwards.
On defense, Francis Bouillon (Montreal); Jim Fahey (San Jose Sharks) and Jordan Leopold (Calgary) were picked to play in the tournament that will take place in Finland from April 26-to-May 11.
Also added to the team were goalie Damian Rhodes of Greenville in the East Coast League, defensemen John Gruden of Eisbaren Berlin, and defenseman Brett Hauer of Geneva-Servette.
Three players from the German Hockey League were also named to the team: goalie Chris Rogles, and forwards Ted Drury and Kelly Fairchild. Forward Kevin Miller was added from the Swiss National League.
The remaining eight members of the roster will be announced later this month.
