Dinner for families of troops

Vietnam veteran David Miller hopes to ease the pain for loved ones of the military serving in Iraq by teaming up with a restaurant owner to provide a night out.

Kevin Egan, co-owner and manager of Paxton's Grill, 126 W. Loveland Ave., Loveland, will sponsor a dinner and night out for families of deployed military 7-9 p.m. April 14. Dan Martinez will entertain with piano jazz.

The dinner is free, but Miller is soliciting donations to ease the cost. Individuals and organizations that want to contribute can contact Miller at 683-7195 or Egan at 583-1717.
