'Circles of peace' Sunday
Tristate reacts to war
The New Jerusalem Community sponsors "Circles of Peace" every Sunday from 1-1:30 p.m. at various churches and groups. At the gatherings, some choose to go inside and participate in prayer and meditation, and others choose to march outside, walking around the block holding signs for peace as a witness to the neighborhood and passers-by.
If you'd like to march outside, bring peace-oriented signs (no profanity or anti-Bush signs), and drums if you can.
This Sunday's gathering will take place at New Jerusalem Community, 745 Derby Ave. in Winton Hills. For updates on locations for future gatherings, or if your church or organization would like to host a Sunday, call 541-4748 or e-mail njcommunity@juno.com.
