Clermont sheriff shows flag
Tristate reacts to war
The flags of the United States and various U.S. military services are flying in front of the Clermont County Sheriff's Office headquarters. Flags will be changed weekly.
"I decided that this would be an appropriate gesture of our office's sincere respect and admiration for the men and women of the military serving our country at this critical time,'' said Sheriff A.J. "Tim" Rodenberg, a Marine veteran.
The Marine Corps and Army flags were selected as the first to fly because the sheriff's office has a number of reservists that have been recalled to active service with the Army, as well as a number of veterans from both the Marine Corps and Army.
