NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Figuring Kentucky center Marquis Estill wasn't an offensive threat, Utah didn't double-team him Sunday, and Estill made the Utes pay.

The 6-foot-9 senior scored 18 points, including 10 in the first half, and went 9 of 13 from the field in Kentucky's win. He also grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.

"I knew I would be able to take it to them tonight," Estill said. "They didn't trap down, and it was one-on-one. I knew I would be able to get some easy buckets."

Estill made five of his shots in the first half and sparked Kentucky to a 14-point halftime lead.

Utah coach Rick Majerus said his staff didn't have enough time to scout UK to know exactly how to approach the game defensively.

"Estill really took it to (Tim) Frost," Majerus said. "And (Cameron) Koford was no opposition."

When asked what teams might do to stop the Wildcats, Majerus said Estill could run into problems if UK meets Pittsburgh in a potential Elite Eight matchup.

"Estill will have problems against physical players," Majerus said. "For us, Koford isn't tough enough or good enough. But they will have a tough time against Pittsburgh."

HOSPITALITY: Actress Ashley Judd, UK's most famous fan, had the team over for dinner Friday.

The Wildcats dined on fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, cornbread and biscuits at her house on a farm just outside of Nashville.

BOGANS CLIMBS: UK senior guard Keith Bogans scored 18 points Sunday and has 1,903 in his career. That moves him into fourth place on UK's all-time scoring list, passing Tony Delk, who scored 1,890 points from 1992-96.

MR. MARCH: Tubby Smith is 33-7 in March since taking over at UK. He's 16-4 in the NCAA Tournament, 12-2 in the Southeastern Conference Tournament and 5-1 in regular-season games.
