This week's move:
Tricep dip

[photo] Start: Hold the seat of a sturdy chair behind you. Keep knees bent and feet flat on the floor, as if sitting in an invisible chair.

[photo] Dip: Slowly lower body until upper arms are parallel to the floor. Keep torso straight. Pause, then press back up to starting position. Initially, try to do 10 times.

Walks, runs

• Michael L. Games Life is Good 5K, 9 a.m. Saturday, Hilltop Elementary School, 425 Oliver Road, Wyoming.

Cost: $15 (no shirt), $23 (with shirt) on race day. Free Kids Fun Run for ages 7 and younger.

Course is USATF-certified and begins and ends at the school. Proceeds go to care of cancer patients in the Jewish Hospital Stem Cell Transplant Program.

• Great Miami River 10K,

9 a.m. Sunday, Court Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard, Hamilton.

Cost: $20; $22 race day.

This first-time run along the Great Miami Bike Trail is ideal training for spring marathon runners. Register online until Saturday at Web site.

• Cincinnati Parks Spring Nature Walk, 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Daniel Drake Park, 5800 Red Bank Road, Kennedy Heights. Cost: Free.

Take a look at the valley on the edge of the Norwood trough. Binoculars will be available so you can search the terrain. Meet at Drake Park Pavilion.

• Humana Heart Mini Marathon, March 30, downtown. Race-day events: 15K Heart Mini-Marathon, 10 a.m.; 5K Heart Run, 9 a.m.; 5K and 10K Heart Walk, noon; 2K Kids' Mini-MaraFun, 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $30; $35 race day; $20 for Kids 2K.

Until March 26, register at Web site (site has course map and other information).

Four-on-four basketball

• Corryville Spring Madness Four-on-Four Basketball Tournament, Saturday and Sunday, Corryville Recreation Center, 2823 Eden Ave. Age groups: 10-12, 13-16 and 17 and up.

Cost: Adult team entry fee $20; youth team entry fee $15.

Sponsored by RETV for Youth Inc. Two-game minimum. One substitute allowed.

Flag football

• Cincinnati Recreation Commission Spring Flag Football, Co-rec Division, seven-game season, 9, 10 or 11 a.m. Sunday (season starts when leagues fill), Lunken Playfield, East End.
