Man answering door shot in head

COVINGTON - A 23-year-old man shot in the head Sunday night remained in critical condition at University Hospital in Cincinnati Monday.

Cori Hon, 23, of 11 Greenup St., was at home at 9:30 p.m. when he received a knock at the front door. When he answered the door, a man dressed in black and wearing a ski mask shot him.

Hon's girlfriend was inside the apartment but not harmed.

Covington Police said the gunman was last seen running from the scene.

Anyone who has information about the shooting is asked to call Covington Police or Crime Stoppers at 352-3040. Callers can remain anonymous and may receive an reward.
