Div. II: NKU's women open against Lakers

The Northern Kentucky University women's basketball team received an at-large berth in the NCAA Division II Tournament Sunday night.
The Norse will play Grand Valley State at 8 p.m. Friday in the opening round of the Great Lakes Regional at Indianapolis.
NKU (21-7), the No. 5 seed, will face fourth-seeded Grand Valley State (24-6) in a rematch of the season opener which the Lakers won 63-62.
The host University of Indianapolis (28-2) is the No. 1 seed. The Greyhounds will meet eighth-seeded Wayne (Mich.) State at 6 p.m. Friday.
If NKU defeats Grand Valley State, the Norse will meet the Indianapolis/Wayne State winner at 8 p.m. Saturday in the semifinals. The championship game is set for 7 p.m. on March 17.
