On the Same Page debuted in spring 2002 and quickly became the project that launched a thousand books.

On Friday, the titles for the second annual community-wide reading project were announced:

Savage Inequalities, Jonathan Kozol's exploration of public education, is the main selection.

Marika, local author Andrea Cheng's novel about a girl growing up in Hungary, is the young reader selection.

While the book has changed, and a young reader title has been added, the project mission remains the same:

To build community and inspire discussion on race, tolerance and diversity through reading together.

Find out about events; learn how you can participate; and read more about the project, the books and the authors at cincinnati.com/samepage
