Fitness Calendar



Registrations

• Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC) Athletic Division Spring/Summer

Adult Softball registration begins today for teams that played in 2002 and March 12 for new teams, until leagues fill.

Cost: $205 per team for non-lighted leagues; $275 per team for lighted leagues. (Umpire fees, game balls and bases not included in the fee.)

Men's, women's and co-rec's 10-game season will be played at fields throughout the city beginning April 13.

• CRC Spring Volleyball League registration begins Tuesday for teams that played previously and next Monday for new teams, until leagues fill.

Cost: $180 per team. Five-game season begins April 7, with end-of-season tournament for top teams.

Walking, hiking

• "Getting Started, Getting Fit" Walk Club 2003 Kick Off, 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winton Centre Auditorium, Winton Woods, Hamilton County Park District. Free.

Open to adults 50 and older who enjoy morning walks. Members will meet three times weekly to walk.

• Early Morning Hike, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Withrow Nature Preserve. Free. Meet the naturalist at Highwood Lodge.
