No one expects to accomplish anything serious April 1, so why not take part in a business road show?
CincytechUSA, the technology-promoting arm of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, is asking business leaders from throughout the Tristate - from the Kentucky and Indiana sides, too - to hop a bus to Columbus and hobnob with any political leaders who will see them.
The group has already lined up Ohio Tax Commissioner Tom Zaino, Transportation director Gordon Proctor and economic development czar Bruce Johnson. It is awaiting a reply from Gov. Bob Taft. It aims to talk about tax reform, the $1.6 billion Third Frontier high-technology proposal and other issues.
The half-day visit will wrap up after a dinner reception hosted by the Southwest Ohio legislative delegation.
The trip will cost $75. To reserve a seat on the bus, contact Susan Laffoon at the Chamber at (513) 579-3153 or by e-mail: slaffoon@gccc.com.
