Officer Schulte: 5335. I'm 2-6 arrest. I can do that. I'm leaving the district.

Officer Schulte: 5335, I'm just had one (person) run right out of the front of the store.
Dispatch: OK, subject ran from the front of the store.
Officer Schulte: Male black, all black. Heading southbound on Hamilton.
Dispatch: OK. male black, all black. Heading southbound, which street?
Officer Schulte: Southbound Hamilton
Dispatch: Running southbound on Hamilton.
(mumbled)
Officer: 5330, what's he wanted for?
Dispatch: He ran from the burglar alarm. A burglar alarm on the store.
Officer: I'm on Hamilton. Where is he?
Dispatch: 5335 - 5335 - 5335, 44.... 5332, do you have contact with him?
Officer Schulte: I just made contact. Shots fired.
Officer Schulte: 5335. Shots fired. I've got shots fired (panting) he's (panting) he's uh, on, on Hamilton in the rear of the tattoo shop. He's on his feet. He's uh, staggering off.
Officer: 5330, who was shot? The officer or the suspect?
Dispatch: 5335, you were shot, or shot at the suspect? (pause) 5332 he's in the rear of the tattoo shop, if you could go there, on Hamilton.
Another officer: Police took off... (mumbling) officer needs assistance if he's not raising.
(Beep)
An officer: 32, we got him... (mumbled)
Dispatch: OK, 53. 5332 The suspect's at gunpoint in the rear of the tattoo shop on Hamilton.
An officer: Get a rescue unit started. We've got (an) injured officer.
Dispatch: We copy. They're at Hamilton and Chase.
An Officer: 1530 ... call standby cars and we going to lock down the scene? And I need another supervisor for the district. ... A district supervisor.
(brief pause)
An officer: 5335, ah, we're going to be in the rear of 4177 Hamilton.
An officer: (shouting mumbled)
Dispatch: OK, all cars, standby.

An officer: OK 1530 at Chase and Hamilton. Hold the camera til I get down there and see what we've got.
Dispatch: (mumbled) Do you have an emergency?
An officer: 1530, is Officer 19 available if he's still on the air?
Dispatch: OK, he's switching.
An officer: OK, we have one subject in custody.
Dispatch: OK. One subject in custody in the rear of 4177 Hamilton. OK car on scene on Hamilton. I need to know who has been shot.
An officer: 15. (mumbled) 5333. Suspect has been shot. Officer's injured.
Dispatch: Copy that.

Dispatch: (beep) Cincinnati Police Department. May I help you?
Caller: Hi. This is Protection One Security. I have a commercial burglar alarm
Dispatch: What's the address?

Caller: I don't know, uh, if it was real. Gunshots it sounded like.
Dispatch: What's the address? What address ma'am?
Caller: Uh, my address is (gives address on Chase Avenue).
Dispatch: OK, how many shots did you hear?
Caller: Six
Dispatch: Six shots. What's your name, ma'am?
Caller: Mira Rodwan

Caller: M-I-R-A
Dispatch: All right. And your telephone number, ma'am?
Caller: Uh, (gives number)
Dispatch: Did you see anything after the shots?
Caller: No
Dispatch: OK. All right then, ma'am. Would you be willing to speak to police if necessary?
Caller: Yep. You mean, if they would phone me?
Dispatch: Yeah, if necessary, yes ma'am.

Dispatch: All right, I'll send police out to that area then. You just heard it in your area, right?
Caller: Right. Chase and Apple.
Dispatch: I'll send police out to that area. OK?
