SUCCESSFUL HOMECOMING Rangers goalie Mike Dunham faced Nashville for the first time since being traded to New York on Dec. 12 and made 28 saves in a 4-2 victory Thursday night. BRIEF CELEBRATION Pittsburgh snapped a scoreless streak of 158 minutes, 42 seconds when Milan Kraft tallied in the first period, but were shut out the rest of the way in a 4-1 loss to Boston on Thursday night. Without that goal, the Penguins would have broken their scoreless streak record of 183 minutes, 15 seconds set in 1979-80, when coach Rick Kehoe was a player.
