Memorials: A ballet class will be taught at 3 p.m. Jan. 25 in memory of the late Anneliese von Oettingen, a Cincinnati dance teacher for 55 years. Her daughter, Cornelia Berns, will conduct the class using the technique that Ms. Von Oettingen cultivated, based on her studies with Russian ballet master Nicholas Legat. It is free and open to the public at the von Oettingen studio's Cheviot location, 3744 Glenmore Ave. Any donations will go to Kinderballet Inc., the youth ballet that Ms. von Oettingen developed. A Jan. 26 memorial will be held 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum, 3738 Eastern Ave.
