Small college basketball games

Christina Brown scored 22 points and Virginia Grace had 21 to lead Mount St. Joseph to a 74-67 victory over Hanover College Wednesday night.

Grace also totaled 12 rebounds and four blocks for the Lions (10-5, 4-1 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference). Rebecca Petty had a game-high 13 rebounds for the Mount, which finished with a 44-32 advantage on the boards.

Hanover 103, Mount St. Joseph 89 - Matt Moore scored 24 points as Hanover College jumped out to a big first-half lead and cruised to the victory.

Derrick Clevenger finished with 19 points and Thad McCracken added 16 for Hanover (14-1, 5-1 HCAC), which led 53-35 at the break.

Chris Washington scored 24 points and E.J. Engelkamp had 18 to lead the Lions (9-6, 3-2).
