Meet the author



The book: Crossroads Of Twilight (Tor; $29.95), the 10th part in the best-selling Wheel of Time series.

The writer: Robert Jordan, fantasy-fiction master, graduate of The Citadel and subject of an official Usenet newsgroup on the Internet.

The plot: The conflict between good and evil (ie. Light and Darkness) may be reaching a turning point as Rand al'Thor considers a truce. "The eagerly awaited installment ... has all the breadth and depth that have made this fantasy author one of the acknowledged greats of the genre," says Publishers Weekly.
