Another local boy joins Vienna choir

A third boy singer from Cincinnati will be going to Vienna to join the 500-year-old Vienna Boys Choir.

Andrew Markowich, 11, of Westwood, a sixth-grader at Fairview German Language School, will leave next week for Vienna.

Andrew, who has sung with Cincinnati Boychoir for four years, replaces Ryan Slone, 12, of West Chester Township. Ryan will complete his tenure in March because his voice is changing.

The other Vienna Boys Choir member is Donald Smith, 14, of West Chester.
