Oct. 24: Campaign finance reports detailing contributions and expenditures through Oct. 16 must be filed. These reports must be filed by candidates, political action committees, legislative campaign funds and political parties.
Nov. 2: Applications by mail for absentee ballots must be received by noon at the board of elections.
Nov. 4: Absentee ballots may be voted in person at the board of elections.
Nov. 5: Election Day. Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Absentee ballots of voters - other than those who live out of the country - must be received by boards of elections by 7:30 p.m. Voters hospitalized because of medical emergency may apply for absentee ballots until 3 p.m.
Nov. 15: Overseas ballots must be received by 3 p.m.
