Miami wins Lefty McFadden Invitational

FAIRBORN, Ohio The Miami RedHawks (2-0) defeated Bowling Green 2-1 on goals by sophomore Vince Pulera and freshman Stephen Dennis to win the inaugural Lefty McFadden Invitational Saturday night at the Nutter Center.
Mark Wires scored for BGSU (1-1).
Pulera, Miami's fastest skater, was named tournament MVP after scoring three goals in two games.
Niagara beat Air Force 7-3 for third place.
